Setting Families Free

Welcome to our blog.  We’re Clint and Beth Mello, and we want to share with you how we discovered a way to combine our passions, our faith and our home business and truly live an abundant life.

You’ve probably already figured out that we’re Christians.  You’re welcome here whether you share our faith or not. Just expect to find references to God and Jesus and faith throughout just about everything we write, because that’s who we are.  For us, being a Christian is not something we do, and it’s certainly not about being religious.  It’s about who we are, and we hope in shows clearly in everything that we do, including our business.

Here’s a quick picture of where we came from before we talk about where we’re going.  And we’re betting a lot of you can relate…you know all the clichés…more month than money, either enough time with the family or enough money for the family, but never enough of both, and that oldie but goodie, “I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired.”  Yep…that was pretty much our life.

So when we were first introduced to network marketing, man, we were all over it like ants on a picnic!  It was easy to grasp the concept of “leveraging 1% of the efforts of 100 others rather than using 100% of our own efforts.”  And we had already figured out, as we’re sure you have too, that with the economy and job security going down and down, while prices, the unemployment rate, and the number of foreclosures are going up and up, that truthfully, network marketing was our ONLY REAL OPTION for living the life we believe we were created to live.

We had some small successes over the years, and even got Beth home from work, but we couldn’t quite get to the level of bringing us both home, which was a priority.  The problem was in finding a business that we could both be passionate about, that was aligned with our core values so we could pour ourselves into it without feeling like we were neglecting the things that really mattered.

You see, we loved the idea of network marketing because it was a way to reach our goals by helping others reach theirs.  And it was our goal to pursue our passions and the mission work we believed we were called to do once we had the financial and time freedom to do so.  So that’s exactly what we were doing with another company when we ran smack into “the answer.”

Beth had been praying for some time for a way to use her passion for writing and our passion for helping people in a way that truly honored God, blessed others, and gave us the opportunity to share our faith in everything that we did.  And when we found a way to get families financially free by feeding starving children around the world, it wasn’t at all like a light bulb going off over our heads.  It was more like an internal explosion of joy and excitement and absolute certainty that this was what we were supposed to be doing.

And so after much prayer, without any hesitation at all, we made the decision and the commitment to take this opportunity to feed starving people and help families live an abundant life to our friends, our community, and with the power of the internet, to the world.

So that’s our story.  And we invite you to be a part of this ministry and create your own story and live the life of abundance that you were created to live.

God did not send his only begotten Son into the world to die for us so that we could merely exist.  In John 10:10, Jesus said “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 

Can you think of a better way to achieve a life of abundance than by helping to feed starving people around the world?  We couldn’t.  Won’t you join us?   Pay it Forward
